Smaller than expected
They are of excellent quality and durable. However, they are smaller than I thought. I thought 5x7 would be from the bottom of the pan, that's how a 9x13 casserole dish is measured. No, that is not so. 5x7 is the outer top dimension and is much narrower at the bottom. When preparing soups, casseroles or other liquids, this container fits 2 people. If you want to make enchiladas or similar, you can put 2 enchiladas in a container, which for me is 1 serving.
