Using this level 2 charger on my new (used) 2015 Nissan Leaf. It perfectly supports Leaf's "regular" 6.6kW charging. I could have opted for a permanently mounted charger, but I wanted to be able to take it with me on the go. Driving the car home from the dealer (116 miles away) I stopped halfway at an RV stop and they had NEMA 14-50P plugs that worked great to give me a full charge in 2.5 hours . Normally with this town car I just plug the MUSTART charging cable into my 50 amp 14-50P outlet in the garage and plug the car in when needed. I don't have any reliability data as I've only had the device for 2 weeks but I highly recommend it and I also like the fact that it's a bit cheaper than most alternatives. Also keep in mind that it is not strictly speaking a "chargerβ for your electric vehicle. The charging system is built into the car itself. These "electric vehicle chargers" are simply a smart connection to a power source so the car can properly regulate the amount and duration of the charge.
