Review on πŸ”¬ Versatile Translucent Silicone Adhesive Strip: Efficiently Removes & Bonds with Precision by Chad Black

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It works out; The house can now hold heat

Be very careful to clean the surface first, I used Mr Clean's magic eraser, then Method's all-purpose cleaner, then water, let dry. Also consider whether you are using the sticky side with your left or right hand depending on where you place it on the door or window. Double insulation works well; for example on the door and the frame. Make sure the door can close once the project is complete so you can glue it in place before removing the sticky backing. Note: If you have pets, the silicone is a magnet for pet hair. I was able to clean the surface simply by wetting my hands with water, running my fingers through the non-sticky end, and rinsing my hands regularly to remove pet hair. If you don't, you'll end up with disgusting pet hair trapped in a sticky end. I then took a wooden spoon and pressed it against the sticky end, making sure it formed a good seal, like tape or duct tape. I've used this on doors, not windows. Finally, I didn't try to remove the silicone strip, so I don't know if it will peel off the paint (ugh)
