We got this for our first baby (she’s now 2) at the recommendation of Taking Cara Babies. This portable sound machine is amazing for naps on the go, or overnights out of town. The volume is nice and loud (adjustable, of course) and we are big fans of the white noise option (more sounds available, like ocean waves). The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is now, two years in, we are noticing the plug for it must be going. Sometimes it charges up beautifully, and other times we keep it plugged in all night (while using) and it will randomly cut off. This is two years in though and we use it almost daily. I do wish you could replace the cord since the machine works fine. Anyway, if you’re expecting and thinking about using a sound machine with your little one, I cannot recommend it enough. They sleep so much better and are less likely to wake up at the slightest noise. Highly recommend this product, just know it may need replacing eventually.
