Has non-wood coating that has an artificial smell
Nice wooden ladle and scoop, and a free spatula but all had some kind of artificial shiny coating. Don’t like the smell nor taste that came off these. Will have to sand the coating off and re-coat with food grade wood oil. Somewhat disappointing especially given the nice craftsmanship for these utensils. Seller should ask maker not to coat these, and leave them as natural. We can coat with food grade wooden oil ourselves.
