Burning a few holes in the nylon TIG torch cap I knew the day was coming, on which there would be a hot bowl. Day filters to flexible hoses. In retrospect, nylon isn't ideal for protecting things from very hot heat sources. This leather case is 4 inches wide, has no zipper and when you put it over the tube it fits well, not too big and not too tight. It still works with a water-cooled setup. It is beautiful, elastic and does not bother. Although it has some weight unlike slippery nylon, it doesn't want to slip off and scream "surprise" when I put it on my foot. my hand with a flashlight. stays where I put it. I love it and would recommend it over nylon anytime.
