Update: not recommended.
Update overview. Shortly after my first review of this product my check engine light and flashing fuel gauge came on so I replaced this product with an old genuine Mercedes Benz cap that was simply missing the lanyard and the check engine light and flashing light were gone. According to the mechanical computer code, a pressure leak from this product appears to have caused a malfunction. I do not recommend.
