I'm glad I had them as I broke off one of the old ones - the bolt - when taking it off. Unfortunately, of the two I bought, one didn't have a spacer (it looks like it was sent back). Luckily the local shop had a spacer. If you choose to do this, keep it simple and heat the nuts with a burner first and you won't have a problem (60 seconds is all it takes). Just protect everything with wet rags. so worth the time. Not the first time I've done it and spent an hour trying to get the nut off.
