Plays everything: UHD and HD Blu-ray and DVD regardless of region. The only downside is that the manual doesn't say that the disc tray has to be empty to switch Blu-ray regions. Once you know about it, you can use it fully without any problem. Now that I've had this product for a while, I'm noticing regular freezes that require turning the device off to regain control of it. I hope this is a software issue and will be fixed. HOWEVER, even though those pesky freezes persist, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AT THIS PRICE ANY MORE.
