I think this is a classic example of you get what you pay for. My husband opened the package and said "This is great!" as they were the perfect size for his large car key. So he tried to open the lid of one of them and it broke in his hand. We weren't impressed. The second one is better so far, he has a spare key in his stash and he hasn't broken it yet so I'm not sure if it was operator error but I don't think it should be broken. So easy. So in my opinion we should have spent the money on 1 high quality key locker instead of 2 cheap ones. I will say that these key lockers have a good sized magnet on the back.
