It catches all those nasty iron bacteria and does a great job cleaning up our horrible city water.
3 filtration systems for our small towns terrible iron bacteria, super hard and overly chlorinated water. I change the sediment filter every 2 months and the activated carbon block every 3 months and the kdf filter hopefully annually, but I'm not sure yet whether we use a Rheem water softener with the kdf.plus. We love these aquaboon filters and will continue to use them.
