Love that someone is making these struts! I had to cut off an ear as the bumper mount is bolted to the frame. You can see it in the photos. I also had to drill a hole for attaching the brake lines to the inside of the frame. I recommend that you clamp the center of the bracket all the way into the frame and then weld it on. Otherwise your steering gear will not fit.
