The sheath around the wire is too stiff
This is literally the more expensive and annoying version of buying two separate spools of red and black wire. The sheath doesn't hold the wires in place when they're short, and they add an overall rigidity that isn't necessary. Real speaker wire should be physically connected and broken at the ends, not encased in useless plastic.
