This is like liquidy pudding in consistency. You can put it on with a brush. It will self level as well. It is a bit hard to apply to a tilted surface unless it is contained within, say a groove.I have used the spray on version, and this is better for applying exactly where you want it.I used this inside gutters to seal the connections between them, and also where the downspout is attached to the gutter. It does very well in that sort of application, it sort of flows into the areas that need to be sealed off. I also used it on some PVC joints for directing water into a water barrel, it also worked well for that. I then tried to patch a crack IN a water barrel, that it failed to hold. It could not stand up to the pressure from the water. I used a plastic bag with the end cut off to apply it, sort of like a liquid frosting. I still ended up with it all over me.The biggest issue is how to store this so that the rest of the product is useable. I wish it came in smaller sealed units, maybe even plastic bags inside the can so you could use part and save the rest easily. If you do not get ALL of it off of the can lid you will need to struggle to open it again later, it seals well, and it seals that well too.
