Major Lag Electronics

I need more USB ports for my new MacBook Pro. A device I use mentioned that it works best with USB power, so I got this one. The other device I use is a keyboard and mouse. When I plugged a small Bluetooth dongle into the keyboard, the delay was so extreme that it was a little annoying to do anything. It doesn't happen on any other device. Just this one. I would like to return it, but I already accidentally threw away the packaging.
