Review on πŸš— Dorman Fuel Level Sensor 911-048 for Hyundai: Enhanced SEO-specific Model Selection by Brett Kolpack

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Herat product for money. Works fine on my 2007 Santa Fe.

This is not the first time I have used Dorman parts to repair my car and again everything worked perfectly. Saved about 50% of the cost of this part compared to the original. On my 2007 Santa Fe, I replaced the failed stock fuel sensors with Dorman sensors. They are absolutely identical to the originals, they were easy to put on the injection pump and above all they worked; My check engine light went out right after installation. However, opening these two gas caps is no easy task. You must have the Universal OTC 6599 Fuel Sender Blocking Tool. It took me 4 hours to do this job but it saved me $500. The main task is to carefully disconnect all fuel and electrical connections. Then carefully unscrew both caps with the OTC 6599 and great muscle strength. Then remove the failed sensors, install the Dorman sensors, and reverse the process. You should hear a loud click as the lids close, indicating the lids are fully closed and the tank is ready to be pressurized. You'll need a lot of strength and a breaking barbell to pull this off. Much luck!
