Very good device but no instructions. First, make sure that the plastic top of the screw fits into the toilet seat locking brackets. Please note that this bolt assembly will only fit locking toilet seats, not standard non-locking toilet seats. The locking latches on the toilet seat allow for quick removal of the seat for cleaning, which I find handy. Assemble the screw and long plastic nut as shown. Tighten the nut firmly with your finger, but not so tight that it cannot move a little. Place the seat latches on the round, latch the top of the bolt assembly and latch the seat. Then finish tightening the nuts until the bottom of the nut snaps off, making sure the nut is properly tightened. They have made! Haven't used this bolt assembly in a while, but it seems strong and easy to install. If I have problems using it I will post an update. If there are no updates, everything is fine.
