We have bedroom doors that slam when the windows are opened. It's a nice way of keeping doors open. Still cold so I haven't tested them yet to see if they actually hold the door in place because they are lighter and smaller than they should be. My doors are carpeted and I feel like I have to tape some material to the underside of the wedge to keep it in place because as other customers have pointed out the wedge doesn't fill the space between the doors. and the carpet is pretty tight enough. For this reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars. I have a feeling that a good strong wind will still be able to open the door. I can overlook and make adjustments because these doorstops are a much better alternative to the old brown rubber wedge! However, the manufacturer should take this into account and use a larger mold or offer specific sizes!
