This is a REQUIREMENT for Chromebook users. This allows you to connect printers that don't yet support Google Cloud printing to your Google account and print from iOS, Android, and Chrome devices such as Chromebooks. Setup was easy for me, but I had to run the line straight to the first router because plugging into my switch prevented it from finding my network and automatically connecting to it. The setup is as follows: 1) Connect the USB cable to the printer and to the Lantronix box. 2) Connect an Ethernet cable to the router's LAN port and to the socket on the Lantronix unit. 3) Connect the power cord to the Lantronix unit and then to the wall. 4) The device starts flashing but stops flashing to a slower pulse as it gets brighter/dimmer, it's set up and connected to the internet. Your Lantronix device. 6) When prompted for a username and password, use the Lantronix printed on the bottom of the box. (Usually admin and PASS) 7) Sign in with your Google account when prompted. 8) Have fun!
