Can't get quality prints?

Update: Given the ongoing research with Lantronix support and their engineers, I'm a little optimistic about raising my rating. It looks like the device is almost certainly capable of producing better quality prints. We're trying to fix driver issues (on the device) and we've been able to make significant improvements. Great problem solving. Now I have 2.

Bought one of these 2 years ago and wasn't impressed. I switched to using the Google Cloud Print service downloaded to a Windows workstation. But recently my customers started having problems with their cloud printing service. It just didn't work anymore. Calls to Google were unsuccessful. I pulled this out of the server cabinet and updated the firmware. It worked like magic. Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Setup was easy for me, but I had to run the line straight to the first router because plugging into my switch prevented it from finding my network and automatically connecting to it. The setup is as follows: 1) Connect the USB cable to the printer and to the Lantronix box. 2)…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I'm very glad I bought this

Okay, that's a very cool product. We recently bought two Chromebooks and wanted to print from them to a printer on our wireless network. Our printer wasn't Google Cloud-enabled and we didn't want to have the computer running as a server all the time. I bought this little device, plugged it in (to the wired LAN and to the wall), it blinked for about 30 seconds, then my printer was set up. I followed a few steps in a quick start guide, less than 5 minutes and we were up and running with cloud…
