I've had the 8" pan for a year now and the 2 liter pot since early March. The best nonstick coating I've ever used. I have a commercial stove that tends to stain the outside of my pots and pans, but not this one. A real bonus. They're light - wish they were heavier - I'd definitely pay the price difference. I think that's why some customers are having problems. As the instructions say, you should use a low to medium fire. If you turn on the heat, these devices will quickly overheat and ruin any non-stick pan. Use steel or cast iron for frying or other high temperature tasks, these for the rest and you'll be a satisfied customer like me. Oh, and my pot had a very nice glass lid.
