Review on πŸš— Noico Black 80 Mil 36 Sq Ft Car Sound Deadening Mat: Butyl Automotive Deadener for Restoration & Noise Dampening Insulation by Dana Schmidt

Exactly the same as branded products, only cheaper.

Next to Dynamat Extreme and Damplifier Pro it's the same. Same thickness, same backing, etc. I've used both of the above products and have a spare of each to compare. In fact, I liked this material more than Dynamat or Damplifier because it follows the contours of the record better. Maybe that's what that diamond structure is for, I'm not sure, but I know it fell off without tearing the aluminum base, unlike a dynamat or a damper. As with Dynamat and Second Skin, don't expect this alone to make your car a smooth ride. This only reduces panel vibration, and you don't need to have 100% coverage for it to work (it's just extra mass to dampen high frequency vibration). This material is basically part 1 to make your car silent i.e. the base layer. Part 2 is to place the closed cell foam and rubber pad. Part 2 requires 100% coverage. I used it as a base coat (and some dynamat/dampener since I still have it) on my floors and side panels. Then I removed the jukebox padding from the carpet and put Second Skin's Luxury Liner Pro inside. This is a fantastic material as it's made out of foam with an attached rubber backing so you don't have to struggle with cutting two pieces and gluing them together. And now my truck is noticeably quieter. So much so that now I hear all sorts of other noises coming from the engine (Toyota 3VZE are loud). But with the windows open and the radio on, it's much better.

Pros
