I don't think it works. It's a placebo at best. Met a deer a month ago, bought this to give me some hope. Well, on the way home from Colorado, Nebraska, and Iowa, 8 deer at various roadside spots didn't even notice me passing. I'm just grateful they didn't choose to cross the street while I was driving past at 65 mph. They didn't even look up and walked in the opposite direction as I passed. So either all the deer are deaf, or this thing doesn't even make a sound, it doesn't work. save your money You might feel better with one, but it doesn't work.
