I was so optimistic that this cute bird is so soft and plush and has a solid base. BUT: On the inside of the seam above - which will be right above my bird when she uses the hutch - it's MUCH easy to pull the fluff off the raw edge of the seam allowance. Lint falls off with absolutely minimal effort. (See attached video.) Birds explore objects with their beak and tongue. Any bird can eventually ingest so much fluff that it clogs its intestines, which is very often fatal. With all due respect to the majority of those who have given high ratings, I strongly believe that even one star is too high a rating for this product.
