I was riding my bike one day and noticed how bright and visible the rider's taillight was in front of me. When I stopped I asked what that lantern was and bought it immediately. This light is a bit pricey for a taillight, but it's worth it. I invested in a really good headlight but didn't want to spend too much on a tail light because I've never seen one that was worth it. That light changed my mind. This flashlight has 7 modes, although I usually only use one of them. The 3 modes also allow red lines to be projected down the side of the bike, but I'm not sure how valuable that is; I haven't used it yet.
