Type works for aquarium heater

I bought this to keep the aquarium warm. I didn't want a large blunt string hanging from the bowl which was the only way to keep the water warm. I put the bowl on it. It worked somehow. The fish died because it had nothing to do with the heater. I understand this is not the intended use of this product but 🤷🏻‍♀️
