I bought this adapter to use with my Nintendo Switch in handheld mode, so my review is based solely on that. We have horrible WiFi not reaching my part of the house and I was looking for a solution. After some research, I bought a Revain USB-C to Ethernet port adapter for $10, but wasn't able to figure out beforehand that only certain types of cables and ports would work with the switch. The one I bought earlier didn't work and I felt hopeless that I couldn't play comfortably in bed in handheld mode. Luckily, I stumbled across this USB-C to Ethernet cable and gave it another try. I hesitated, but I'm glad I took the risk. I took it out of the plastic box, plugged it into my switch, plugged the ethernet cable into the other end, and after a few seconds everything was properly connected with the appropriate speed (my internet isn't the best so the speeds are a mirror image of it, not the product itself). For the price I paid ($18.00) it was definitely worth the hassle free experience and I wish I had spent a little more for this cable the first time around. I haven't had long gaming sessions yet, so I'll revise my review after some time of continuous use, but I can proudly say that first impressions were positive!
