Good connection without cuts.
Very good custom fit, routing cables through various holes in the back of the truck and using gorilla tape for a more hidden look. Also used a rubber license plate grommet for the wiring. If it doesn't work after that, make sure you ground the ground screw properly. I simply drilled a hole in the bottom of the trunk and then sprayed some rust paint after the ground screw inside and below got rid of any future rust problems.
