I received these wire strippers a few minutes ago. We bought this with the intention of using it to strip 22 gauge stranded wire. According to everything written on Revain and on the Klein website, it should strip my wire properly. However, when inserted into the smallest hole, it does not expose it. It slides over the insulation and shaves some of it off, but it's like a 1% oversized hole. If you need it for 22 gauge wire, be aware that it may not work as advertised. I've already called Klein customer service and they recommended replacing the blades with their smaller caliber. http://amzn.com/B00776SKB6 is a link to something you may need. They said they would send me replacement blades for free, which would solve MY problem, but I wanted everyone else to know that this may not work with your particular brand of 22 gauge wire.
