The "X" and "Y" buttons on my old Gamecube controller were faulty and required a bit more pressure to register. I heard cleaning the controller would fix the problem so I decided to open it up and clean it. Unfortunately, Nintendo products only use these special screws for 3 head screwdrivers. So I bought one of these babies and it worked like a charm. It's small and magnetic so I didn't have to worry about losing screws. I was able to open up my Gamecube controller and get rid of all the dust and dirt that had built up inside over the past decade. It's nice to have something that's been around for so long and still works.
