Review on Combination 2000 5000 Sharpener: Ultimate Sharpening and Polishing Solution by Mark Morrow

I have a 6000 grit King Stone and was looking for the next step. The advertised 8000 grit seemed a bit lazy for the price, and my guess was right. Compared to my stone collection I would say the 8000 grit is closer to 4000 (definitely a notch below my 6000). If you only buy stones from this company you will have no problems. However, if you're already using higher quality stones, you'll find that the grit isn't quite what you'd expect. In short, I got what I expected for this price and can still get a good head start. Just don't expect anything close to a mirror finish on your edge.
