Drawer slides are fine. I wouldn't expect something with two components to be anything else. The hardware to hold those slides in place is a different story. do yourself a favor When ordering these rails, also order the screws. Then, when the slides arrive, remove the screws packaged with the slides and immediately throw them in the nearest trash can. Unless, of course, you find a use for them as nails. These are without a doubt the worst screws I have ever seen. Some had no threads. Some had a screwdriver recess that wasn't deep enough to insert a screwdriver. Some others had their heads cut off. I gave up and used what was at hand.
