this Wi-Fi stick works on Ooma Telo

Bought this NETIS WF2111 USB Wi-Fi Adapter for ten dollars here on Amazon. I use this on my parents' Ooma Telo because I don't want to pay for Ooma's expensive official $50 Wi-Fi to Bluetooth adapter. This NETIS WF2111 WiFi USB stick works just as well as the official ooma WiFi stick. Just plug it into the ooma's USB port. Then connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to the ooma. Then go to setup.ooma.com and set up Wi-Fi. I have this wireless card in case my parents' internet cable goes down. Connect this wifi card and turn on wifi hotspot on my smartphone or separate cellular hotspot, and then my parents have wifi internet access.

Pros
  • Wireless N with speeds up to 150 Mbps; best suited for web surfing; E-mail; data exchange; and online chat
Cons
  • Very Expensive
