Collapse! Get ready for frequent "fixes " while driving

I really wanted to like them. I loved them the first time I wore them but after one wash everything went wrong. They roll up all the time when I'm cycling! As a beginner in cycling, I didn't appreciate how short they are compared to more typical cycling shorts. Now I take off all shorts and switch to 3/4 tights! Now no worries and no "corrections" while driving. My tights have the same suede lining, which seems to work better for me than a pair of more expensive Pearl Izumi linings. I wear size 10-12 in jeans and pants (e.g. Loft, Ann Taylor) and size XL fits me perfectly. Do you want them to be snug or are you headed for chafing/scrubbing town and if you've ever had a true saddle ulcer you'll ditch all ill fitting pants, don't wear suede underpants, buy suede oil, clean before and after and always keep it dry - and of course wash it after EVERY wear. When you start riding a bike, do yourself a favor and find the right short/narrow/bib and learn how to prevent and treat saddle ulcers. I recommend you NOT to use these shorts, but maybe smaller builds don't have the same leg roll issues as I do. 2 stars because good quality, good suede lining, just hate shorts that roll up!
