I needed a wire brush for my second grill so I bought this Grillaholics as it was similar to the brush we have for the other grill , which has lasted for years . Unfortunately, this brush differs from my original only in that they look the same. After the third use, the handle broke completely. The wire portion of the brush still works well, but impractical without a handle. After each use of the grill, I turn it on for 5 minutes, then turn it off and let it cool without opening the lid until the next time. use. I have found that all food on the rack will chip if the correct brush is used. I barely squeezed the brush because I don't want to risk ruining the grill, but I did use the brush to knock off the burned/charred bits. I was very surprised that this brush broke so easily after minimal use. I should have bought the original brush I have - it was $15 more expensive but I think it's worth the expense for this cheaper version. Or maybe I have a bad one in a bunch. However, I cannot recommend this brush. I gave it 3 stars because the wire brush is good - it's tightly coiled to keep bits from falling off the grate and if it weren't for the poorly designed/manufactured handle it would be a great brush to keep your grill going keep .
