Review on Channellock Awl Screw Starter Chrome by Jose Guevara
Not what I expected.
Not what I expected. I replaced a lost screw starter. The old one worked great for many years. This new one is not as well made as the old one. It doesn't cut into wood as easily as the old one. You have to try too hard to start. The threads on the new one are too soft and should be more aggressive. I need one badly so I'm keeping it. I had to modify it with my dremel to make it work at all. That's still not what I want.
