Review on Lincoln Electric 615 Suction Gun by Darnell Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Professional quality high viscosity oil syringe

Professional quality and design. Thick steel tube with an equally strong piston. Note that they have a double piston seal to limit leakage, but if you're siphoning/pumping gear oil that weighs 140 at 40 degrees, don't expect optimal performance or a reversal of the laws of physics. Includes vinyl tube. flexible, but over time petroleum products will make it stiffer. If you're concerned about the hose being pushed in, secure it with a zip tie so it cuts into the burrs on the hose fitting. Although they're called "suction guns," I prefer to go back to the piston and pour in whatever gear/diff oil I'm using, and then use the piston to slowly feed it in. Heating oil, so no open flames, microwaves, etc. should be used. Also room temperature (70 degrees) is better than 40 or 50. Partial filling of the gun.
