Type of review

For removing water from orchid skins. Lincoln 615 20oz. replaces 18 oz. black suction gun. The 615 model has an improved seal design to prevent water leakage from the rear of the unit. When the bottle is completely full, no water flows out of the front plastic hose. Suction good to excellent. Our car dealerships no longer have these suction guns. The only thing they sell are cheap plastic blocks that require a lot of work and seem to have a limited lifespan.

Solid performance. Replacing the fluid in the differential is fairly quick.

This worked fine for my 2008 Acura RDX diff fluid change application. There can be no talk of leaks. It moved just under 3 liters in five or six puffs. Can't speak to durability at the moment but plan to use this for a possible transfer case fluid change in the future and will update thereafter. As others have pointed out, the product description is wrong where it says 20 oz. The pack says 18 gr. capacity and I've observed that when working with the liter jars I've used (just under two puffs…

good item. How to lengthen the hose or reduce its diameter

The hose has a large outside diameter. I wouldn't fit in any of the three small engines I had. The video contains information on how to reduce the hose and how to lengthen the hose. These conversions are very inexpensive and can be made from local material. One thing I didn't include in the video is cutting off the end of the tube. If you are inserting it into the hole at an angle, consider cutting the bottom of the tube at an angle so it sucks out more and more oil. Feel this is a good tool…

Good but not like the picture. Hose secures with friction

The reason I bought this suction gun and not others is because of the picture. This shows that there is some sort of nut where the nylon tubing connects to the main unit, but that is NOT the case. The hose simply slides and relies on friction. This was important to me as the liquids I plan to use this product with are extremely viscous and pumps with similar settings will damage the tubing if 'moderate' pressure is applied to the plunger. For this reason I am rating the product 3 stars (because

Professional quality high viscosity oil syringe

Professional quality and design. Thick steel tube with an equally strong piston. Note that they have a double piston seal to limit leakage, but if you're siphoning/pumping gear oil that weighs 140 at 40 degrees, don't expect optimal performance or a reversal of the laws of physics. Includes vinyl tube. flexible, but over time petroleum products will make it stiffer. If you're concerned about the hose being pushed in, secure it with a zip tie so it cuts into the burrs on the hose fitting…

Works great no problems with leaking liquid or anything

as others have said. If you suck liquid into it, you have to keep it upright. When injecting you should try to keep it level or tilt it down, but as long as you take your time and don't clog it, you shouldn't let any liquid through the seal. The seal is fairly tight and might require some effort if you're making something like gear lube, but I'd prefer a good seal that's a little harder to push through than an easy one that leaks through. Also, the hose that comes with it is pretty rigid and…
