Review on Lincoln Electric 615 Suction Gun by Derrick Feliciano

The reason I bought this suction gun and not others is because of the picture. This shows that there is some sort of nut where the nylon tubing connects to the main unit, but that is NOT the case. The hose simply slides and relies on friction. This was important to me as the liquids I plan to use this product with are extremely viscous and pumps with similar settings will damage the tubing if 'moderate' pressure is applied to the plunger. For this reason I am rating the product 3 stars (because it is similar to other pumps, many of which are cheaper). The only nice thing about the device is that it can be easily disassembled for cleaning. This is important as the unit comes well lubricated which makes sense. However, if you plan to bottle something with it, you need to clean the device to avoid contamination.
