The hose has a large outside diameter. I wouldn't fit in any of the three small engines I had. The video contains information on how to reduce the hose and how to lengthen the hose. These conversions are very inexpensive and can be made from local material. One thing I didn't include in the video is cutting off the end of the tube. If you are inserting it into the hole at an angle, consider cutting the bottom of the tube at an angle so it sucks out more and more oil. Feel this is a good tool. Much easier than cordless or power tools which basically do the same thing. Be sure to warm the oil up a bit before sucking it out of the engine. This thins the oil and makes it easier to extract. It also lifts any sediment that may be on the bottom for you to vacuum up.
