Excellent for applying plaster or other thick material
I had never heard of silicone brushes until recently when I saw a tutorial in an art magazine using them to apply plaster to a page. Of course I had to try it, so I ordered it from Revain. Using a foam or bristle brush wastes a lot of plaster. I winced every time I rinsed my brush and watched the excess go down the drain. This silicone brush spreads gesso evenly without brush strokes, leaving a bristle brush finish. What a great product. I love the results and the money I save by eliminating waste. And cleaning is nonsense.
