Review on Maximize Towing Capacity with CURT 19100 Camper RV Bumper Hitch: 4-Inch Beam, 2-Inch Receiver, 3,500 lbs by Dave Hess

One happy camper! on receivers

Exactly what I was looking for. I can now transport our bikes in the back of our 24ft camper instead of our F150 short body. It's much easier to load a truck with larger camping gear when the truck bed becomes empty. I have found that the hitch fits snugly against the trailer bumper with little to no tolerance so there is no movement once tightened. I sprayed some silicone spray on the hitch and bumper, then jacked up the bottom with a jack and board to protect the hitch trim to ensure it fully seated. Also tapped the hitch with a rubber mallet while gradually raising the jack to the point where two bolts came out of the top of the bumper and went through both holes. Nuts tightened, reamed and done. I'm only loading two bikes so I can't confirm bumper or hitch capacity with certainty. So far no signs of loosening or frizzing. I see where the money went. This is a well made and beautifully finished product. No missing parts.
