The quality of the fabric seems to be excellent. The outer surface is a silvery sparkling material resembling glass beads. Inside is a softer finish that feels like a mix of cotton and paper. It looks like it's going to save the paint. Pockets for mirrors are sewn in, that is, they are not separate covers, but a reflective strip is sewn in. Around the perimeter there are elastic straps with delicate plastic hooks for attachment to the car. I have the large size which fits our SUV very well. Full Disclosure; I ordered it for our new SUV in the spring. So I only compare the build quality to the older cover on our sedan and this product is clearly better.
