Review on Authentic Kitchen Aid Beater Blade for 4.5 and 5 Quart Tilt-Head Mixer, White, Made in USA by Jesus Baker

I had this exact blade for TEN years (first 2 photos) before it failed. I've handled it with kid gloves, I've never soaked it in water and I've never washed it in the dishwasher. I LOVE this blade. It was almost the only knife I used. So when it failed I replaced it with the EXACT same blade from the SAME manufacturer. I was so excited to have found it after so many years. Needless to say I am so disappointed in the new one. It's flaking off after only 3 uses and looks like it might start shedding bits from the scraper (last 3 pics). As I no longer have the original packaging (I just knew I didn't have to keep it) I can't return it.
