I've had several bushings in the past and never felt they worked reliably. There will always be a device that suddenly stops communicating, sometimes affecting other devices connected to the hub. Two of these hubs have been connected to my PC (HP Media Center 1050y) with 11 devices connected for a year. I have a combination of USB 1.0 and USB 2.0 devices and they all work great. I found the hubs so reliable that I connected my external hard drives to them rather than directly to the USB ports on the back of my PC. I noticed someone said they had a problem connecting this hub to the UPS to provide power. . I have both connected to a Belkin UPS and have had no problems during power outages. The devices I have connected to my hubs are two USB 2.0 inkjet printers, one USB 2.0 scanner, one USB 1.0 UPS, one USB 1.0 webcam, two USB 1.0 wireless game controllers, one USB 2.0 memory card reader, one USB 1.0 mouse and 2 external hard drives USB 2.0 drive.
