Not bad for the money. I'm using it as a stopgap on a 1967 Mustang until I have time to rebuild one of the stock carburetors I have. The jets feel right, they're responsive and the electric throttle is a nice touch. Note that if you use it on an old Ford product like mine, the baseplate profile will not match the intake manifold profile. So you will need to use the thick washer that comes with it, and you may find that your mounting bolts may not be long enough. If you decide to use an electric choke, do not connect it to a vintage ignition system as you could blow the fuse. Take the time to run a separate wire through the ballast resistor to the ignition switch. Also, keep in mind that this is a generic carb, so you'll likely find something that you need to tweak to get it working properly. Don't blame the carburetor. This is a universal concept that keeps the price down.
