Barely survived multiple drawer pulls in store. I drilled 6 holes and on the 7th it was already smoking and barely going through the wood (1 layer 7/16" OSB + 1/2" Douglas fir) and I found that the cut edges were flat. You're sharp out of the box. , and there was shards from machining that weren't cleaned, but dammit, they're made out of marshmallows. Photos are attached; one on the left is dark, one on the right is unused. Also note that they oxidized very quickly when wet due to a ceiling leak. The photo shows rust spots on the shaft, I do not recommend it. I'd say they're fine for occasional use in softwoods, but I quickly realize that you get a lot of bang for your buck when it comes to tools. "The most expensive tool is the one you have to buy twice." Rather spend a little more for something of high quality.
