Review on Kohree 36V To 12V DC/DC Converter Regulator - 10A 120W Golf Cart Voltage Reducer by Corey Singh
May not work with 24V solar!
I purchased this to down-convert 24VDC from a solar power station to 12VDC to run a micro-PC. My solar charge converter (a Morningstar SunSaver, good quality unit) has a 10A load rating, but this converter--even with no load--causes it to short out. I haven't tried connecting this unit to any other 24VDC supply, so I can't comment on how it works.but I can tell you that it doesn't work with a Morningstar.
- I use this on 48 volt golf carts for headlights. This items works great.
- Could void the warranty on the golf cart
