Review on πŸ”§ Stanley Proto J4769 1/4" Drive Socket Driver: Compact and Efficient Tool for Versatile Socket Applications by Mike Ramani

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible plastic ruins everything.

The extension seems to be of decent quality but the acetate grip is terrible. Lots of sharp edges, and instead of taking the time to get the extension to fit the mold properly, they just sand down the end. It wouldn't be too bad, but they don't bother to keep it straight while doing it, so if you use it with a ratchet it will swing at you. Also, the plastic does not adhere well to the extension and is not thermally stable, so when the driver heats up, the plastic comes loose. Try using it this way and it will crack in your hand. Tools must not need to be cooled.

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons
  • nothing here
