Review on Meshforce M7 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh WiFi System (2 Pack) by Paul Barnes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rated #1 on most online sites for a reason

I'm a civil engineer so I usually overdo it when I'm looking to buy something. Especially when it comes to something as technical as this grid system, which I really know very little about. So I always go online and read reviews on Google, search for the top rated mesh systems, etc. so I can find out the pros and cons of each item for sale no matter what I buy. Almost everyone loves Netgear's Orbi Mesh and Google Nest Mesh. Both don't fare well for many reasons, including privacy issues, setup issues, issues with limited square footage, and the need to constantly get them up and running again. The one that kept popping up on every ranking search page was the Meshforce M7 Whole Home Mesh Tri-Band Wi-Fi System (3 Pack), which I honestly have NEVER heard of before. It was reasonably priced, easy to set up, and worked right out of the box the first time, which NEVER happens to me when I buy something like this. JE! I have Spectrum 1 Gigabit service at home and when you get Spectrum 1 Gigabit they supply a modem and router. The router is of very poor quality and even the Spectrum Tech people who came to my house told me that because I have installed a ring system of cameras around my house and the router does not have enough Wi-Fi signal to properly power them. Without a proper Wi-Fi signal, the cameras show nothing and usually have a "black" screen; and they seldom warn me when there is movement in a cell. Plus, just so you know, Spectrum 1 gig is actually only about 650 Mbps, not 1 gig. I'm hard-coded and have never had anything better, but paying monthly for 1 gig worked fine. After speaking to a Spectrum tech at my house trying to fix the lack of strong WiFi, I was suggested to go with a mesh and even the tech mentioned the Meshforce M7 tri-band WiFi system for the whole thing A house. He told me to downgrade my Spectrum internet from 1GB to the next lower 400Mbps signal and turn on the router as it is not free with a lower service and the modem is still there. I did this on the phone with Spectrum and they sent a signal to my modem to stop 1 gig and even after that I'm getting 455Mbps. More than I'm paying for and not much less than I should have been getting with 1 show . And with a savings of $60/month plus tax, the new Meshforce M7 pays for itself in 4 months. The system is now installed and my Ring system is working great with triple the Wi-Fi performance that I had previously as Ring allows you to see the strength of the Wi-Fi signal coming to each device. Why someone has a different grid system is incomprehensible. My guess is that people buy big names that spend fortunes on advertising. None of them can compare with this system. Go online and look like me. Or ask your Spectrum specialist when he will next be at your house. Oh yes, one more thing. A Spectrum technician told me that the Netgear Orbi was having issues with Spectrum service continuity. Netgear is said to be working on it, but that's a bad sign.
